A. Rinkel is a luxury brand well-known for its sought after accessories elaborated in premium leathers and crocodile skins using traditional techniques and high end Italian hardware.
Its founders, Adriana and Alex Rinkel, have provided skins for more than twenty years to the most famous European fashion houses and, in 2005, looking for new ways to expand their business and innovate, they decided to create their own collection of accessories. The success was immediate, conquering the tastes of socialites and fashion editors around the world.
The company develops two seasonal collections, Spring-Summer and Fall-Winter; and the “Heritage” collection, a curated selection of classical pieces with a modern twist. The bags and leather goods can be personalized, choosing colors; finish, interiors or including embroidered initials.
The collections, under the creative direction of Adriana Rinkel, feature limited edition and one of a kind pieces. In addition to the ready to wear collections, Adriana creates special orders and the last addition to the A. Rinkel universe: a collection for dynamic men with sartorial sensitivity.
The breeding, tanning, production and sales processes follow very carefully the international regulations for this kind of products and the company is totally committed to the conservation of the crocodilus fuscus species donating a percentage of their sales to this cause.
The A.Rinkel Spring summer 2018 collection is called “Graphics in Motion”. It’s inspired in the arquitectural movement in the 1920’s. Having a fascination for this period Adriana wanted to represent all the glamour, luxury and exhuberance of this decade. The use of color is part of the signature of the brand and the result is an artsy air impregnated in the collection. “This collection reflects our essence as a brand and our original approach to luxury accessories. The pieces can be sophisticated and fun at the same time and as always invites to create a look around them”, says Adriana Urueta-Rinkel. From her design studio in Barranquilla Colombia.
